Chapter 4 -- The Police-y Staff [Edited!]

Muttering and the pain continued on for days as people got used to the fact that I didn’t have chance of returning and I still wasn’t accustomed to not being on PC, since they IP banned me, but I still had email notification… it was really sad. I got an IM from Alex which stated "Hey, all the staff members are are having a conference somewhere in Australia, wait, yeah, Perth. I think some mod is hosting it." I tried to reduce the numbers down to the ones only in Australia that was only about three that I was aware of. Though, surely there was no staff in Perth, was there? I needed all the moderators’ last names and luckily an anonymous person gave me the surnames, I grabbed a phone book and started to look up from A to Z until I found the name I wanted. There was only one family with that name so in an instant I started to dial the number. I still wasn’t sure as of to what I’d say and finally they answered. "OMG, I’m sure a big fan of your work, can I please meet you?" I gave out my address and I wasn’t sure whether I’d get a cop or some drunk guy with a bag over his head but I was willing to trust that it would be the former. I received a knock on the door and I knew it would be the person I was looking for. Hi, what’s your name I said to myself but it didn’t sound right, instead I was going to stick to a simple hey. I opened the door and a guy wearing a skirt and no top on faced me. ‘And you are?’ The person replied to me "Nica… I’m a sort of mod, no normal member but I just wanted to let you know that your theory on the staff being police is just a figment of your imagination." "But like… I’m banned." "Do we care?" "Yes, who are you though?" "Look at what I’m wearing, I’m sure you’ll figure it out sweetie... bye anyway" "WAIT... Where do you live?" "Everywhere." The words faded into blank space as the person began to walk away, I said to myself, I was right, and there was no doubt about the person being the latter. Somehow, when I tried to log back onto PC I wasn’t banned. Was the last two months a not a blur… but a dream? Nobody denied about knowing about the banning so it must’ve been real, but why would they lie about lying?
