Chapter 7 -- The Police-y Staff [Edited!]

Murderface was online, which didn’t surprise many of us. Most expected that Murderface was a mod because he was a criminal and they wanted to keep an eye on him. Only the three staff and I could confirm that fact. Nobody bothered to have a conversation with Murderface because they feared him. Murderface had an ally that we weren’t sure of yet but was due to find out pretty soon. Coincidently, Murderface had always argued with Marz, since they were on, maybe their arguments had a connection to Murderface’s hatred shown towards him from others. A group conversation seemed most appropriate. "Hey guys" I said enthusiastically. "OMG, you’re like the only person that bothered to have a conversation with us since I was modded." "Well um… you’ve been spamming." "... and that’s why the modding happened? Wtf…" "Uh yeah" I replied, trying to sound as interested as I could be. Marz was staying quiet, so perhaps he knew something that I didn’t. “Um, I have something to reveal to you…” Murderface continued on without paying anymore attention to the modding topic. “Yes, it was me this entire time, I organized the crimes scenes, I was involved in the entire system... But you know what else? No one will ever believe you, the people you think are on your side in stopping this are actually tied deep into what is going on... People you might consider friends are just being used... to get information on you to hold against what you stand for... Muahahahaha." Marz replied to Murderface’s revealing news before I had a chance. "Oh great, now she’ll screenshot it and put it up to the big men in blue." "Um, yeah, no duh, you’re a little twisted in the head, remember?" Murderface and Marz were beginning to have their own little argument. "Anyway… I’m the leader of Muderhead, Marz just had to go ahead and spell it wrong." "HEY. It wasn’t my fault… I had to go to the toilet." "Great, she really wants to hear that, doesn’t she?!" "Yes…" "Nica, Marz is like my sidekick to murder people, it’s actually quite fun after a while, but, the fact is, I’m starting to doubt what gender I prefer… there is this really beautiful person at PC, and isn’t a male… that’s just for your interest by the way. Anyway, enjoy living, because your police-y staff aren’t there to protect you from danger anymore." Closing the window was the best option, and then I started to think two of the members, they were once mods, Signomi and Chi tried to keep their identities secret but for the safety of PC, they made their status public to the areas they used to moderate. I got John to ask the main admin to remod them. Occasionally, pretty much once a week, they revealed more about their identity, even Marz was smart enough to crack onto the fact that they really were police even though they were moderators. I wasn’t sure about the staff getting a firm grasp upon the screenshot, but after my shower, I felt rejuvenated and ready to face anything they dealt at me. I trusted Alex so I showed him the screenshot that would change everything. We decided that with that knowledge it was a good idea to show the staff or else we could be in danger. Two of the staff were on so I PMed them about the screenshot. They were both astounded that Murderface would reveal the screenshot to me but doubted it was the truth and that he might have been covering for someone else. I was beginning to feel like a detective, peering into my friends/murderers personal lives. I had a look through some of Murderface’s spam and decoded it with the spam-delete 2007. I found that he was really saying that Shayla, was about to return to PC and she would bring a secret with her. I needed to get to Shayla or else the secret of the criminals will never be uncovered. Confronting Shayla tomorrow would be something that might help the investigation further. I guess until then I would have to wait for a request or instead wait for the DCC to be open after its spamming. What happened, was that someone *cough* gave a certain n00b a link to the spam prohibited DCC. Suddenly the DCC’s post count was so high and spammed up that the staff hadn’t bothered to reopen the DCC to the public. Nobody really even saw the spamming, but the staff was sure that something was posted. Maybe the DCC may have a clue or three.
